Norwegian Getaway has floated for the first time as it continues to be prepared for launch in 2014.

The float-up took place on Friday May 24th in Papenburg, Germany where the ship is being constructed.

On Saturday, the ship was successfully moved forward and by Sunday morning, Norwegian Getaway was set in her new position.

The ship structure is now complete with all steel-blocks erected – a major milestone in the ship’s construction.
