Royal Caribbean International has announced the appointment of Michelle Nagy as regional sales manager for Scotland.

She joins Royal Caribbean from L’Oréal where she held the position of account manager in Scotland.

Nagy has previously worked with Virgin Atlantic and the Rentokil Initial Group.

She will report into Sarah Weetman, head of retail, UK & Ireland and will be responsible for growing trade partnerships in the region. 

Weetman said: “We’re excited to welcome Michelle to our UK sales team this year.

“Michelle brings with her a wealth of FMCG experience which will provide valuable insight to her role as RSM for Scotland.

“Scotland is an important focus for us, and as we continue to expand we know that Michelle has a unique skillset required to drive this growth through 2017 and beyond.”

Nagy will also look after the implementation of new ideas and reinforcing Royal Caribbean’s commitment to finding the right type of cruise holiday for Scottish guests.

She added: “I’ve always sought out the best when deciding who to work with and when this opportunity arose to join Royal Caribbean, I didn’t need to think twice.
