MICHELIN GUIDE RECOGNIZES “STRADOMSKA 12” RESTAURANT AT STRADOM HOUSE HOTEL & SPA
Stradomska 12, the signature restaurant of Stradom House Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection, offering a contemporary take on Polish cuisine, has been recognised by the Michelin Guide. The restaurant’s inclusion is particularly significant as this year marks the publication of the prestigious guide’s first-ever country-wide edition.
Located in the heart of Kraków, Stradomska 12 is helmed by Head Chef Robert Panek, who reinterprets traditional Polish recipes with a modern sensibility using locally sourced ingredients. Through thoughtful technique and seasonal produce, the restaurant offers a refined dining experience that celebrates the richness of Poland’s culinary heritage in a contemporary setting.
“We are very proud to be recognised by the Michelin Guide,” says Robert Panek, Head Chef at Stradomska 12. “Our goal has always been to honour Polish culinary traditions while presenting them in a way that feels modern, thoughtful and deeply connected to local ingredients and producers. It is especially meaningful for us to share Polish heritage through food, whether welcoming guests discovering Poland for the first time or offering locals a fresh perspective on familiar flavours and traditions.”
Since opening in 2023, Stradomska 12 has become known for its contemporary interpretation of Polish cuisine. Signature dishes include beef tartare with smoked mayonnaise and pickled mushrooms, wild rice and mushroom cabbage rolls in a tomato reduction, and roasted duck with seasonal accompaniments inspired by classic Polish home cooking. Dishes are expertly paired with regional Polish spirits, local vodkas, and wines within an intimate 30-seat dining room adorned with contemporary artwork by Dorota Buczkowska and Itamar Gilboa, a part of the hotel’s extensive art collection. Blending historic surroundings with modern design, Stradomska 12 reflects the evolving identity of Kraków’s dining scene while remaining deeply connected to Polish culture and craftsmanship.
