Meetin.gs revolutionizes meeting practices on the web and face-to-face

Meetin.gs is a new web-based cloud service that was introduced today at the Nordic Arctic15 startup competition. Meetin.gs challenges existing online collaboration solutions and meeting software with its integrated solution.

Meetin.gs provides a faster and easier way to organize meetings online. The aim of the service is to revolutionize traditional meeting culture, where a considerable amount of time is spent on finding a suitable time, travelling, emailing, and distributing material among the participants.

“We have estimated that the service saves approximately 2-6 weeks of work time a year for those who go to 30-60 meetings a month,” says Teemu Arina, the CEO of the company.

The barrier of entry to use the service is lowest on the market. First, the basic usage of the service is free, and second, participants do not need to remember the address of the web page, passwords or install any additional software. Participants log in to the service conveniently via email or calendar invitation sent by the organizer.

In addition to the free version, Meetin.gs PRO is also available for professional use. The PRO version based on a monthly subscription provides customerspecific branding, more configuration options, improved security, and integrations to back-end systems.

The service is primarily focused on the European, North American, and Australian market. Launch partners include for example, one of the largest Finnish teleoperators Elisa, web conferencing systems provider Videra, and a Dutch business center network called Seats2meet.com.
