LVCVA Launches new website for Travel Professionals

Selling Las Vegas is getting a little easier today with the debut of a new website crafted for travel professionals by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). The new site enhances the resources available through the addition of e-tools including unique itineraries, maps, eTemplates for marketing the destination, a photo gallery, Commissionable Vegas, information on booking incentives and more. “With the recent growth in Las Vegas tourism numbers, 19 straight months of increases in visitation, we felt that it was essential to provide more tools to our travel professionals,” said Art Jimenez, senior director of leisure sales. “These new resources will make knowing, promoting and capitalizing on Las Vegas bookings easier and more efficient for the travel agent community.” For travel agents visiting Las Vegas, the LVCVA provides additional resources including the Vegas Advantage Card and the Vegas Insider newsletter. The Vegas Advantage Card provides discounts at various restaurants and attractions throughout the city. The Vegas Insider newsletter is a monthly digital publication distributed to registered agents, providing the latest and greatest happenings in Vegas. To access the new website and additional resources offered by the LVCVA, go to www.visitlasvegas.com and click on the “Travel Professionals” tab.
