Luxury Hotel Client in Paris Selects EasyRMS Revenue Management Services
The prestigious Hôtel Napoléon deploys the EzRMS™ Internet Product Suite
Easy (Ez) Revenue Management Solutions Ltd. (EasyRMS) began the new decade in style, securing a prestigious new hotel client in the romantic city of Paris at the beginning of January. One of few independent luxury hotels in France’s capital, the Hôtel Napoléon is very centrally situated on the Avenue de Friedland, close to the Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde.
Despite its location, the four-star property offers exceptional peace and quiet in a majestic art deco building that since the 1930s has belonged to the Kliaguine family. Since then the family has maintained the intimacy, informal luxury and charm of this former private residence, serving their guests with a mix of discretion and cordiality.
Hôtel Napoléon has 101 rooms, including 47 suites, which offer exceptional views over the Avenue de Friedland and the hotel’s interior courtyards. All rooms are unique, combining the elegant with the modern in sumptuous décor inspired by the Napoleonic era.
Raissa Goubin, EasyRMS Sales Consultant for Northern Europe, was instrumental in winning this new deal. She comments: “I am delighted that Hôtel Napoléon has signed the contract to implement EzRMS™. They were ready to implement a revenue management solution but they could not find the appropriate tool for their property. Given that nearly half of the rooms are suites, it was vital for the property to be able to differentiate their strategy according to room type.”

Raissa believes that a key reason why EzRMS™ was selected was because the system can offer recommendations and forecasting reports by room category. “I believe the system will benefit the property by making the revenue management process easier to manage on a daily basis, in a fast and automated manner,” she states.
Hôtel Napoléon is deploying the EzRMS™ Core Module and Ez-QUOTE™, as well as extraction and upload interfaces to their Opera V2.5 PMS. Previously, the hotel’s revenue management was performed using a system built in-house, involving Excel connected to the PMS.
Fabrice Afuta, Deputy Manager in charge of Marketing & Revenue, says that he hopes implementation of the automated system will help the property to be more precise with their prices and conditions, for both individuals and groups. “Naturally, I expect that EzRMS™ will help increase our revenues, as is the wish of all hotel businesses, but we also hope to have an improved view on cost per segment and/or distribution channel.”
“We looked at other revenue management solutions, but it was the multi-category optimisation within EzRMS™ that led us to choose this system. We do have different categories, but as almost fifty percent of Hôtel Napoléon’s capacity is suites, it was fundamental to choose a RMS that allowed us to optimise each individual category of rooms and suites,” comments Fabrice.
