Legend Hospitality Group has expanded its property portfolio, extended its reach and its product offering with the acquisition and management of three new properties.
Now offered by the brand are Brennaissance Wine & Stud Estate in Stellenbosch, Montpellier Wine Estate in Tulbagh and Hans Merensky Hotel & Spa at the Kruger National Phalaborwa Gate.
The news was announced by Peet Cilliers, chief executive, Legend Hospitality Group.
He said: “Legend has secured three new management contracts and we are thrilled that these owner-driven products will now be included under the Legend brand.
“We believe that their unique offerings in key tourist destinations will complement the Legend portfolio and enable guests to experience even more diversity in the range of products.”

The addition of the two wine estates has extended Legend’s footprint into the winelands and opened the doors for properties in the Western Cape.
Hans Merensky Hotel & Spa becomes the third Legend property in Limpopo and continues the theme of golf and safari combination which can also be enjoyed at Legend Golf & Safari Resort and Entabeni Safari Conservancy.
All marketing, sales and reservations for the three additional properties will be handled at the company’s head office in Lynnwood, Pretoria.

Legend Hospitality Group, with its head office based in Pretoria, now operates 18 lodges, hotels and resorts across South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique.
These include Legend Golf & Safari Resort, recognised as the World’s Leading Safari Resort by the World Travel Awards.
