Lao Airlines extends cooperation with APG

Lao Airlines, based in Vientiane, has extended its partnership with APG which will now represent the airline in four further markets worldwide, Netherlands, Canada, Australia and Switzerland. APG already represents that airline in Italy, UK, Germany and France. The airline will also join the local BSPs in these markets via IBCS, the pay-as-you-go system for BSP access which APG created in partnership with IATA 10 years ago.

The partnership extension comes at an exciting time for Lao Airlines which has recently signed an agreement with Airbus for two A320 aircraft which will initially be used on a new route from Vientiane to Singapore.

Richard Burgess, Executive Product Director for GSSA services within APG said “The revenue results we have achieved for Lao Airlines in the markets where we have represented Lao Airlines to date have significantly surpassed our expectations. We are delighted that, in light of this achievement, Lao Airlines has decided to extend our cooperation across further key markets where we can offer support to the new routes of the airline which will develop on the back of the new A320s joining the fleet”.
