Rome Cavalieri has appointed Elodie Lacroix to the role of director of business development.

Lacroix brings a wealth of luxury hospitality experience to the role, having previously held the position of director of sales and marketing at the Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris and as director of sales for the Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts Group in London.

Within her role as director of business development for Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, she will be responsible for developing a commercial strategy covering all segments and channels to maximise revenue and profit performance of the hotel.

Lacroix’s will lead the execution of the commercial strategy through managing the revenue, sales, marketing and Public Relations teams and activity, and by working effectively with the regional and area support teams.

On the appointment, Alessandro Cabella, general manager of Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, commented: “We are very excited to welcome Elodie aboard bringing with her an extensive experience of the international luxury market.
