Jamaican Minister of Tourism meets German Vice Chancellor

The German Athletics Association hosted a reception last night at the Deutsches Sport Haus in Berlin where the German Vice Chancellor and Jamaica’s Minister for Tourism Edmund Bartlett met.

They discussed the importance of the German market to the growing tourist industry in Jamaica and the role German travelers are playing as Jamaica’s strongest growth market following in the footsteps of Britain who currently lead the way with an already established tourist trade.

The German Vice Chancellor congratulated Mr Bartlett on the astounding success that seems to follow the Jamaican athletics team wherever it goes and then thanked him for the attention the Jamaican Team had bought both the Games and Berlin, whilst Bartlett gave his appreciation for the city and its superb job of hosting the games.
