HotelTravel.com has signed an agreement with PayPal, the leading global online payment gateway, and will officially launch the new payment option to customers by early October.

According to HotelTravel.com chief technology officer, Graham Johnson, PayPal provides HotelTravel.com customers with a safer and easier way to book and pay for hotels online all around the world.

PayPal has over 225 million active users in 190 markets, providing a safer and easier way to pay for hotels and travel online from around the world.

HotelTravel.com is adding PayPal just in time for the upcoming peak season around Southeast Asia. Mr. Johnson predicted it would help drive demand with leisure travelers planning holidays and looking for good deals on hotels in Koh Samui, hotels in Phuket, or hotels in Bali.

He also expected it would also appeal to corporate clients looking for Hong Kong hotels, Singapore hotels, or Bangkok hotels.
