Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv opens in the Diamond District

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), one of the world’s largest hotel companies, has opened Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv – Diamond District in the heart of the cosmopolitan Israeli city, renowned for its glamour and style. The hotel marks the debut of IHG’s boutique brand in Israel.

As IHG’s boutique brand, every Hotel Indigo property is designed to reflect the local neighbourhood – no two hotels are the same. Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv – Diamond District’s 91 individually designed bedrooms echo the local area and the building’s urban design is inspired by the city’s iconic stone: the diamond. Incorporating the glamour and style of the city, design features throughout the hotel are inspired by the precious gem, with murals dedicated to some of the world’s most famous diamonds located throughout the hotel.

After a busy day exploring one of the most dynamic and exciting cities in the Middle East, guests can choose to rejuvenate themselves in the diamond inspired Clarity Spa, soak up the sun on the hotel sundeck, or enjoy the fabulous skyline views across the Mediterranean Sea from the luxurious rooftop glass swimming pool. The French-Mediterranean,restaurant Blackstone Bistro -& Lounge named after the original, raw formation of a diamond – offers a selection of delicious locally sourced food and drink and is open to locals as well as guests to enjoy. The menu is served in an atmosphere that changes to match the city’s mood: from a relaxed breakfast and a lively lunch to the place to be seen at as the night unfolds. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the hotel so guests can keep up to date online or relax with their own music selection in the iPod docking station.

Located amongst the charm and vivacity of the Diamond Exchange District, Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv – Diamond District provides an ideal base for exploring the lively city. It is situated amongst some of the city’s finest attractions, including Israel’s tallest building, The Moshe Aviv Tower, the Diamond Tower which contains the world’s largest diamond trading floor. Also nearby is the Diamond museum which gives visitors an insight into the cut, colour, clarity and carat of diamonds, and the knowledge to trace a gem’s journey from rock face to ring. Known as Israel’s “city that never sleeps,” Tel Aviv offers an enchanting mix of buzzing bars, beautiful beaches and a non-stop 24-hour culture.
