Millennium & Copthorne, which owns the Biltmore brand, announced at Arabian Travel Market that it would open a spinoff of the Los Angeles hotel in the Al Bateen district of fast-growing emirate by 2013.
Al Bateen is one of the most exclusive quarters of Abu Dhabi, and its oldest occupied area. The Biltmore Hotel in Hollywood is one of America’s most iconic hotels - it has a favourite haunt of movie stars and has also featured in films such as Ghostbusters, Independence Day and The Italian Job.
The company promised that “the timeless elegance and glamour of the Biltmore is certain to resonate with this market.”
