Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa announces refurb plans

Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, the largest hotel in Southern Thailand, today announced a refurbishment project for 128 rooms in its Andaman Wing B, starting on 27 June through to 31 October 2011.

Gomez, general manager, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa. “With this multi-million dollar refurbishment exercise, all 128 rooms in our Andaman Wing B will be upgraded with a new fresh and contemporary look, featuring 37 inch Flat Screen TV’s, tropical tones and mood decor with a four point glass featured bathroom. Given our prime location on the Karon Beach front, our Hilton world-class service and our new room design, we will continue to offer our guests an enhanced overall experience true to our Hilton values.”

Located on a sprawling 75 acre beachfront site along Karon Beach, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa is an upscale 664 rooms resort set amidst lush tropical gardens. The resort has three distinct accommodation wings with styles and price points to suit all travelers. The Lotus Wing, a completely revamped ultra-luxurious 12-storey tower, offers spectacular ocean views that appeal to high end honeymooners and couples; the Andaman Wing with large renovated bays overlooking Karon Beach; and the Saitong Wing which backs onto landscaped greenery offers views of green hills or emerald panoramic views the Andaman Sea.

The hotel continues to operate as usual with the remaining wings of the hotel during this refurbishment project. Most of the guest’s facilities remain on their normal operational hours, including the lobby, three of the four restaurants continue to operate, one lounge, five swimming pools, 15 day Spa Villas, 24 hour Fitness Center, Kidz Paradise, Business Center, the Grand Ballroom and all 4 meeting rooms also remain operational.
