Emaar Hospitality Group has appointed Riad Abi Haidar as the general manager of two premium luxury hotels under the Address Hotels + Resorts brand.

In his new role, he will responsible for the operations and day-to-day management of Address Dubai Mall and Address Boulevard in Downtown Dubai.

He is also mandated with setting strategic plans that will drive the operational excellence of the two hotels and boost team productivity.

Olivier Harnisch, chief executive of Emaar Hospitality Group, said: “Having served as general manager for Address Dubai Marina, Riad has a strong understanding of the brand values of Address Hotels + Resorts and its luxury hallmarks.

“His extensive experience will be invaluable in the growth of the two hotels.

“He will look at identifying innovative concepts that will further elevate the positioning of the hotels and drive guest loyalty.”

Prior to his stint with Address Dubai Marina, Haidar was the general manager of Manzil Downtown, an upscale lifestyle hotel under Emaar Hospitality Group’s Vida Hotels & Resorts.

He has proven track record in delivering industry-leading innovation and setting benchmarks in hotel performance.

Haidar has worked in several senior managerial positions at international hotel chains in France, Switzerland and the UK.
