Tourism Nova Scotia is encouraging UK travellers to make the most of the Canada Strong Pass this summer, offering free admission to some of the province’s most iconic attractions and experiences.
Running from 19 June to 7 September 2026, the Canada Strong Pass provides free admission for all visitors to national historic sites, national parks and national marine conservation areas operated by Parks Canada, alongside a 25% discount on camping and overnight accommodation fees at participating Parks Canada locations.

The initiative gives visitors the opportunity to discover Nova Scotia’s rich history, breathtaking landscapes and vibrant cultural heritage while enjoying significant savings during the peak travel season.
Travellers can canoe to the secluded backcountry of Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site, explore the historic fortifications of Halifax Citadel National Historic Site and Georges Island National Historic Site, or tackle one of the 26 spectacular hiking trails in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Visitors can also learn about one of Canada’s greatest innovators at the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and discover the stories and traditions of Acadian culture at Grand-Pré National Historic Site.

The free admission offer applies to all Parks Canada-operated locations during regular operating hours. No entry pass or ticket is required during the promotional period, with Parks Canada staff continuing to welcome visitors at gates and visitor centres.
