For the First Time Independent Travellers Can Explore Hidden Indonesia Aboard Silolona

Phinisi yacht charter specialists Silolona Sojourns have announced that solo travellers and couples can now book individual cabins aboard their hand-crafted vessel Silolona on select journeys in 2026 and 2027. Traditionally available only for private charter, these new single-cabin bookings open the Silolona Sojourns experience to independent travellers seeking adventure without compromising on privacy or luxury.

Silolona, the company’s first hand-crafted phinisi yacht, features five elegantly appointed suites - three King and two Queen - each named after different regions of Indonesia and adorned with original art reflecting that region’s rich culture. Guests can also enjoy indoor and outdoor lounge and dining areas, sun-drenched day beds, a library, and a fully equipped dive shop and dive area.

Silolona Sojourns are renowned for their deep connection to Indonesia’s lesser-explored islands and their ability to craft itineraries that embrace slow travel while immersing guests in local culture. Their journeys take guests through the pristine waters of Raja Ampat, Banda, and Komodo, offering unparalleled opportunities for diving and marine exploration.

With the introduction of individual cabins, travellers can connect with like-minded adventurers over freshly sourced, beautifully presented cuisine onboard, while still having ample privacy and the freedom to explore independently. Every Silolona journey offers something for everyone, from hiking through lush forests to snorkelling and diving in crystal-clear waters, or simply relaxing on board or on a remote beach in complete peace and quiet.

Explore Komodo and Raja Ampat in Autumn 2026
Silolona Sojourns has announced two itineraries in autumn 2026 that will feature individual cabin bookings.

From 29th September to 5th October, guests can discover the legendary Komodo Archipelago, combining world-class diving and snorkelling with treks across wild island terrain. Travellers may encounter the famous Komodo dragons on a guided walk through Rinca Island, hike the dramatic ridges of Padar Island, or relax on Pantai Merah, the iconic pink beach. Days are filled with snorkelling, paddle-boarding, or simply soaking up the tropical sun, while evenings offer dining beneath the stars on secluded shores.

This seven-day journey is priced from £2,300 GBP / $3,000 USD per night per cabin, based on two people sharing a double cabin aboard Silolona. Prices include all food and beverages, diving, scheduled activities, and accommodation.

From 23rd to 30th November, travellers are invited to explore Raja Ampat, celebrated as the most biodiverse marine region in the world. With over 600 islands to discover, opportunities for adventure on land and at sea abound. Silolona guides guests through the Misool Islands to hidden bays and untouched cliffs where jagged limestone peaks rise dramatically from turquoise waters. Beneath the surface, guests can dive among vibrant coral gardens and encounter rare marine life, from dugongs and hawksbill turtles to manta rays and whale sharks.

This seven-day journey is priced from £2,300 GBP / $3,000 USD per night per cabin, based on two people sharing a double cabin aboard Silolona. Prices include all food and beverages, diving, scheduled activities, and accommodation.

Explore Banda and Komodo across 2027
Komodo returns to the Silolona Sojourns itinerary in 2027, with individual cabin bookings available from 12th to 17th June, offering the perfect summer escape. Silolona is also presenting two opportunities to explore the Banda region, with trips scheduled from 23rd to 30th April and 24th to 31st October. The Banda Sea, home to the historic Spice Islands, remains one of Indonesia’s most untouched regions. Gentle trade winds provide a relaxed sail from island to island, while guests can immerse themselves in local culture and discover the area’s incredibly diverse marine life thriving among lava-formed underwater gardens. Explore evocative Dutch-era mansions, ancient forts and former nutmeg factories, or hike the majestic Gunung Api volcano for breathtaking views. The Banda region offers a rare combination of Indonesian history, culture and natural beauty, making it an unforgettable journey for every traveller.

These seven-day journeys are priced from £2,300 GBP / $3,000 USD per night per cabin, based on two people sharing a double cabin aboard Silolona. Prices include all food and beverages, diving, scheduled activities, and accommodation.
