Euromonitor International to present The Future Of Travel at ATM 2011

Euromonitor International is pleased to continue its support of the Arabian Travel Market, taking place in Dubai, UAE, on 2nd - 5th May, 2011.  Nadejda Popova, Travel and Tourism Analyst, will discuss the latest tourism performance in the Middle East, city updates and category developments and assess the impact of political instability throughout the region. 

Saudi Arabia has become the powerhouse of the region with positive growth in both religious and domestic tourism combine with an increasing presence of low cost carriers.  Saudi Arabia is spending SR2.5 billion on expanding its airports, with projects including the development, creation and expansion of 23 airports. Despite recent events, the number of arrivals to Saudi Arabia is expected to increase by a compound annual growth of 12% over 2010- 2015.

In addition, Sana Toukan, Research Manager, Middle East, will participate in the seminar “How the web is set to change the travel retail landscape forever?” discussing the impact of rising internet usage on the travel industry.
