Dusit Fudu Hotels & Resorts has signed a second management agreement with Panzhihua Pulongda Real Estate to manage a 150-room Dusit Princess Resort in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province.

This will be the city’s first international resort and will open in late 2016.

Panzhihua City, south of Sichuan Province and adjacent to Yunnan, is an ideal leisure destination especially during winter as the city is blessed with abundant sunshine almost every day.

The daily average temperature during winter is approximately 15ºC.

The Dusit Princess Resort Panzhihua, Sichuan, is conveniently situated within the city’s eco-tourism zone, currently being developed into a new lifestyle destination in West China.

Located within close proximity to the recently announced Dusit Thani Panzhihua, the resort enjoys easy accessibility, being strategically positioned opposite the high speed train station.

It is also only ten minutes by car from the central business district and Bao’anying Airport.

For recreation, guests can choose from a range of facilities including a gymnasium, dance studio, kids’ club and activity room.

A medical centre within the resort also offers therapeutic Traditional Chinese Medicine services.

The resort is located within a sprawling complex which comprises the Dusit Thani Panzhihua Resort, hot springs facilities, sports venues, a golf course, luxury residential blocks, a hospital, school and theme park.

The theme park is inspired by mango orchards and will make a perfect escape for families, offering an amusement garden, kids’ playground, BBQ facilities, a water park, a brewery and shops.
