Disruption to East Midlands Trains on Wednesday 1 December - UPDATE
East Midlands Trains is advising passengers that poor weather conditions across northern England are causing disruption to services on many routes today (Wednesday 1 December).
Trains are being affected by heavy snowfalls and poor road conditions have prevented some train crew from reporting for work.
Services across the East Midlands Trains network are subject to short notice alteration or cancellation and journey times are also expected to be extended.
However, as a result of the difficult weather conditions, no trains are able to run between the following locations:
Sheffield to Liverpool via Manchester
Lincoln to Grimsby/Cleethorpes
Lincoln to Doncaster
Nottingham to Lincoln via Newark
Mansfield Woodhouse to Worksop
The following services are running with delays or short notice cancellations:
Mainline trains to and from London
Nottingham to Matlock
Leicester to Nottingham
Robin Hood Line only between Nottingham and Mansfield Woodhouse
Lincoln to Peterborough
Derby to Crewe
