City of Dreams Launches ‘Sunshine Guarantee’ Offer
Summer is a distant memory for many and as most of Europe braces for the onset of winter, a five-star resort in Cyprus is on a mission to ensure every guest’s holiday is filled with sun and fun.
City of Dreams Mediterranean is offering guests a complimentary future stay to those who visit this winter, and don’t have a sunny day.
Cyprus has long been hailed as the sunniest country in Europe, with up to 340 days of sun a year. So, it seems like a safe bet for those who want to soak up the sun all-year long. However, to put minds at rest, City of Dreams is giving guests a complimentary future stay for every day that’s not sunny.
To make sure everyone takes full advantage of the perfect Cyprus weather, the resort has also lined up complimentary excursions to some of the best activities on the island. This includes winery tours, hiking in the beautiful Troodos mountains and visiting areas of historical and cultural significance nearby, including the Kourion archeological site, Kolossi Castle and the Holy Cross Monastery, as well as many traditional, local villages.
Grant Johnson, Senior Vice President & Property General Manager, City of Dreams Mediterranean said:

“Cyprus is a popular summer destination, but the weather is fantastic here all-year round. With the most sun of any country in Europe and a host of amazing things that will keep the whole family entertained. It’s ideal for Europeans looking to enjoy beautiful weather, amazing outdoor activities, rich culture and great food.
“There’s nothing worse than planning your holiday to escape the cold and having the weather turn when you arrive at your destination. We’re blessed with sun almost every day in Cyprus, but to put our guests minds at ease, we’ll invite them back (on us) if they don’t get sun while they’re here.”
And if that wasn’t enough to make everyone start packing, for a limited time the resort is also offering 15% off…
The Sunshine Guarantee Offer
Guests will be eligible for a one-night complimentary stay for every full day the resort doesn’t meet the ‘Sunshine Guarantee’ – which is defined as a day with at least 70% direct sunlight between 9am and 5pm. Measurement of sunlight will be based on proprietary data from AccuWeather.com.
There’s also a 15% discount on all bookings made before 30th November 2024, for stays until 20th December 2024.
