Centara Hotels & Resorts appointed to manage Azuri in Mauritius

Joint venture partners IOREC and FUEL have announced the Centara Hotels & Resorts will manage the luxury five star resort and spa at Mauritius’ latest development, Azuri.

The boutique Centara Grand Azuri Resort & Spa Hotel is due to open in October 2012.

It will provide a beach front setting with 75 standard bedrooms, ten suites together with personal plunge pools, two main swimming pools, spa and health club, teenager & kids clubs and three restaurants, spread over six acres of land.

Centara Hotels & Resorts will also be utilised to provide full management facilities for any residential properties on site which enter into the ‘rental pool.’

Centara is an award winning Thai hotel group with 10,000 hotel rooms across China, South East Asia, Indonesia, India, Africa and the Indian Ocean.

Murray Adair, chief executive of IOREC commented: “Centara Hotels and Resorts have a strong reputation for offering luxury accommodation with excellent customer service so we are delighted to announce that they will be managing the luxury hotel at Azuri Mauritius.

“The five star resort will provide an idyllic location for holiday makers and residents will also be able to take advantage of the spa and health club facilities.”

Azuri will offer a truly unique proposition for residents to acquire freehold accommodation in Mauritius.

It is also the first and only project in the country that delivers a true taste of Mauritian culture; marrying properties suitable for international ownership with luxury residences targeted exclusively to the local Mauritian market.
