Carlson opens second Park Inn by Radisson hotel in Pennsylvania

Carlson, a global hospitality and travel company, today announced the further expansion of the Park Inn by Radisson brand in the United States with the opening of the Park Inn by Radisson Sharon, Pa.  The hotel is the second opening for Park Inn by Radisson in the state this year, preceded by Park Inn by Radisson Harrisburg, Pa. in January.
“The opening of the second Park Inn in Pennsylvania highlights the continued momentum of our Ambition 2015 growth strategy and is aligned with plans to grow Park Inn by Radisson as a winning midscale brand in North America,” said Steve Mogck, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Midscale Brands, Carlson Hotels, Americas.
Located in or near major cities and airport gateways, the brand has grown to more than 117 hotels in operation globally with 63 hotels currently in development. 
“We look forward to offering a bright, bold and fresh, uncomplicated, friendly and fun environment that provides both business and leisure travelers with the affordable hotel experience they desire,” said Karen Winner Sed, chief executive officer, Winner Hotel Corporation, owning company of the Park Inn by Radisson Sharon, Pa.
The 153-room hotel, located 60 miles from Pittsburgh, features an indoor pool, a fitness center, business center and free Wi-Fi access. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in The Crystal Room, the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel’s lounge, JW’s Other Club, features live music on the weekends. Meeting space is available for up to 300 people. The hotel features whirlpool suites and standard guest rooms.
