MIAMI—Hotelworks.com, Inc. announced today that its subsidiary specializing in project-managed procurement, Leonard Parker Company, has been awarded the contract to provide procurement services to the Ritz-Carlton Doha (Quatar). It is the eighth international Ritz-Carlton property for which Leonard Parker Company has provided the distinctive procurement services necessary to equip a property of this magnitude.
The Leonard Parker Company will be purchasing all necessary Operating Supplies & Equipment, public area furniture and guestroom amenities for the property. The contract is valued at approximately $5.5 million dollars.
Scheduled to open towards the end of 2001, the 374-room Ritz-Carlton Doha will include 61 suites and will offer views of the Arabian Gulf and downtown Doha. It will also include several upscale restaurants, a beach bar and 21,000 square feet of meetings and convention space.
Other Ritz-Carltons for which Leonard Parker Company has provided, or is currently providing procurement services, includes The Ritz-Carlton-Istanbul, Turkey; The Ritz-Carlton-Wolfsburg, Germany; The Ritz-Carlton-Seoul, Korea; The Ritz-Carlton-Bali, Indonesia; The Ritz-Carlton-Cancun, Mexico; The Ritz-Carlton-San Juan, Puerto Rico; and the Ritz-Carlton-St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
