Hyatt Vacation Ownership Adds 10th Property

Hyatt Pinon Pointe, located in Sedona, Arizona, opened the doors to its first Hyatt Vacation Club guest today, making this Hyatt Vacation Ownership, Inc.`s 10th property. Hyatt Pinon Pointe is in the heart of Sedona, located at the premiere `Y` intersection of town.
“Hyatt Pinon Pointe is the 10th jewel in the Hyatt Vacation Ownership crown and we are thrilled with the outcome of this development,” said John Burlingame, executive vice president, Hyatt Vacation Ownership, Inc. “We have worked closely with the Sedona community to ensure that the architecture of Pinon Pointe blends with the natural beauty of the Red Rocks and Sedona.”
The first phase of the property offers 64 two-bedroom lock-off units and 11 one-bedroom units in a contemporary southwestern style. Units are nestled into a steep hill to maximize panoramic views of the stunning Sedona Red Rocks. Deep green and orange fabrics complement granite counter tops and tile throughout, as well as rich wood moldings. All units feature an eat-in kitchen and dining room, as well as an oversized spa tub.
The phase one completion offers 75 total units, as well as an activity building complete with media room, exercise room, spa treatment rooms and a children`s camp. In addition, the property features a swimming pool with water jet fountains, children`s pool, two hot tubs and a tennis court. The property is also adjacent to over 30,000 square feet of upscale retail space that will include several restaurants, art and specialty shops.
During the development of Hyatt Pinon Pointe, Hyatt Vacation Ownership, Inc. worked with Swaback Partners architects to preserve natural wash areas within the property. Many trees on the site were saved and repositioned around the property. On-site signage was also custom-created to blend with the natural environs, and all outdoor lighting is low-level, minimizing the effect to natural views of the night sky.
