C. Kevin Batters has been named general manager of the Hilton Anchorage, replacing Lee Chipman who relocated to the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort. Batters most recently served as resident manager of the Hilton Washington and acting general manager of the Hilton Charlotte & Towers, positions held since 1999 and 2002 respectively. He reports to Brad Hutton, area vice president.

Batters began his hospitality career in 1964 with the Hilton London in the trainee/management program. From 1964 to 1982, he held several food & beverage positions at the Park Lane and Orly Hiltons in Paris, the Abercorn Rooms Great Eastern Hotel in London and the Belmont Hotel in Bermuda. In 1982 he joined the Hilton Palacio del Rio in San Antonio, Texas, where he served as restaurant manager and assistant director of food & beverage. In 1985 he was promoted to director of food & beverage and relocated to the Hilton Palm Beach Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida and served in the same capacity at the Hilton Atlanta & Towers from 1988 to 1999. Batters joined the Hilton Washington in 1999 after being promoted to resident manager of the property.

A native of Great Britain, Batters attended Westminster College in London, England.
