Comfort Suites Free High Speed Internet

Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE:CHH), franchisor of Comfort Suites brand hotels, announced that, effective May 31, 2004, all Comfort Suites brand hotels in the U.S. will offer free high speed Internet access to guests.

“By establishing free high speed Internet access as a brand standard, Comfort Suites becomes one of the first midscale hotel brands to offer this highly desirable amenity across the board,” said Dean Baij, senior director and brand manager, Comfort Suites. “Research shows that two-thirds of business travelers carry a laptop, and an equal number would choose one hotel over another if it had high speed access. Comfort Suites` aim is to be the first choice among business travelers to midscale hotels.”

Comfort Suites brand hotels will offer high speed Internet access through in-room connections, with 50 percent of rooms in each hotel offering either wired or wireless connections; or via an “Internet Café” provided in the breakfast area or business center. The Internet Café will include a dedicated PC with printer as well as a minimum of three jacks for laptop users. “Plug and Play” capability is available through both options, as is 24/7 technical support.
