Omni Hotels has added another Mexican resort to its portfolio. The Omni Puerto Aventuras Beach Resort, formerly the Club de Playa at Puerto Aventuras, is nestled on Puerto Aventuras’ Caribbean Coastline, 50 miles southof Cancun and 10 miles south of Playa del Carmen, near the archeological ruins of Tulum.

The intimate resort currently offers 30 spacious, completely renovated guest rooms designed to reflect the region’s unique décor and ambiance. Each room features four-star amenities including satellite television, in-room refreshment bar, private balcony Jacuzzi tub, direct dial phone, in-room coffee maker and safe, bathroom hair dryers and floor-to-ceiling vanity mirrors.

The Omni Puerto Aventuras Beach Resort’s ocean-view fitness center is equipped with a Jacuzzi, as well as on-site massage therapists. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s two connecting swimming pools and children’s pool, in addition to a nine-hole golf course located next to theproperty, on-site travel and car rental agency, 24-hour on-call medical service, adjoining marina and yacht club, tennis and racquet club, dive shop and ferry service from the marina to Cozumel, as well as nearby dolphin and sea lion reserve, Mayan ruinsand coral reefs.

Ideal for small group meetings and incentive trips, the Omni Puerto Aventuras Beach Resort is equipped with a luxurious Executive Board Room.

The resort offers several dining choices. La Veranda restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and features international cuisine with a preference for authentic Mexican cuisine. Pina Colada restaurant is a Caribbean restaurant located right on the beach serving breakfast and lunch and featuring seafood and grilled menu items. DaVinci is the resort’s gourmet restaurant serving dinner only and featuring Italian cuisine. In-room dining includes a complimentary Continental breakfast delivered by a member of the hotel’s staff each morning, in addition to room service, which is available from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
