Six Continents Appoints Kevin Kowalski

ATLANTA (Nov. 6, 2002) - Six Continents Hotels, Inc. (www.sixcontinentshotels.com), the world’s leading hotel group, has named Kevin Kowalski vice president, marketing, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, North America.


Kowalski will be responsible for brand marketing and business strategies for all Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts in North America. He reports directly to Tom Seddon, Senior Vice President, Americas Brands Strategy, Six Continents Hotels, Inc.

Earlier this year, Kowalski joined Six Continents Hotels as senior director, marketing, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts. Prior to joining Six Continents Hotels, Kowalski was director of brand marketing for Princess Cruises where he managed all marketing strategy, advertising and program development for the cruise line. Kowalski also worked at The Coca-Cola Company in various brand marketing roles, including managing the Sprite, Minute Maid and Barq’s root beer brands.


“Kevin brings a wealth of experience in marketing to Six Continents Hotels,” said Seddon. “During the short time Kevin has been with the company, he has demonstrated the leadership and vision required for this position.”

Kowalski earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at Northwestern University and master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
