Best Western International announces the opening of the $13 million Best Western Sherwood Park Hotel & Conference Center in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.

The 125-room property located at 2100 Premier Way, features cable television, in-room data ports, irons and ironing boards and hair dryers. The hotel also offers cold weather hookups, a cocktail lounge, and restaurant. The hotel offers 30,000 sq.ft of conference/banquet space in two ballrooms and 12 meeting rooms. In addition, there is an enclosed pedway between the hotel and Millennium Place, which features an aquatic center, leisure ice skating, gymnasium for basketball and fitness equipment.

Local attractions include the Festival Place Theatre, Elk Island National Park and the Strathcoma Wilderness Center. Horseback riding, fishing and golfing are all within a 15-minute drive from the hotel.
