Prestigious Nominations for Rocco Forte Hotels at Cond̩ Naste Readers` Travel Awards

Rocco Forte Hotels` three UK luxury hotels were delighted to be nominated as runners-up in the prestigious Conde Nast Readers` Travel Awards which took place in London this week.
The Lowry Hotel, Manchester, which has been open for 18 months, was the highest-placed hotel outside London listed in the UK Business Hotels category. The hotel was voted seventh best in the country and closely followed six London-based hotels. The St David`s Hotel & Spa in Cardiff achieved fourth place in the best UK Spa Hotel category, and The Balmoral in Edinburgh attained seventh position in the Leisure Hotel category.
The awards evening was also a success for the Hotel Tresanton in St Mawes, Cornwall - owned and designed by Sir Rocco Forte`s sister Olga Polizzi - when it was awarded second place in the Leisure Hotel category. Olga Polizzi is also responsible for the creative interiors of the Rocco Forte Hotels collection.
David Pantin, Managing Director of UK and Russia, commented, “I am obviously delighted that three out of our seven luxury hotels were nominated and placed. Condé Nast is very well respected within the industry and the fact that the awards are voted for by their readers means a great deal as these people have also been our guests.”
