La Cabana, Aruba, Expands Its Culinary Palate With New Las Ramblas Tapas & Charcoal Grill

La Cabana All Suite Beach Resort in Aruba adds Spanish flair and flavor to its culinary offerings with the opening of Las Ramblas Terrace, an open-air tapas restaurant.
Las Ramblas Terrace, named after the famous Barcelona boulevard, will serve a variety of authentic Spanish tapas specialties.  Tapas are typically small appetizer-like dishes usually, but not necessarily, consisting of meat and/or vegetables on different types of bread.  The new restaurant is situated right next to E Piscado, La Cabana’s popular seafood dining establishment.
“With the recent addition of Las Ramblas Terrace, La Cabana now offers an even wider choice of diverse culinary styles to suit our guests varied tastes,” commented Adwina Arends, director of sales and marketing at La Cabana.
Las Ramblas Terrace is the most recent of La Cabana’s food and beverage enhancements.  In the past few years, La Cabana has expanded its offerings with the introduction of a sushi bar (O-Sushi-Mi), a seafood restaurant (E Piscado) and a casual outdoor eatery (The Islander Grill) plus revitalized theme nights and revamped menus in existing restaurants.
Much of the credit for La Cabana’s food and beverage program is owed to Gerry Mans, director of food and beverage.
“We decided to create a tapas-style restaurant because that trend is growing in popularity, and we always strive to offer guests the latest and greatest in cuisine,” said Mans.
Selections from the Las Ramblas menu include: Thin anchovy filets on grilled pita bread, Mixed black and green olives, Plum tomato brushetta, Grilled garlic buns, Tapenade with toast, Marinated palm hearts, Tuna flakes with red onion rings, Goat cheese in honey sauce, Aceto balsamico flavored mushrooms, Grilled Caribbean snapper filet, Shrimp “pinchos” on two wooden skewers, and much more.
Las Ramblas will be open from 6 pm until midnight, the first two hours of which will be Happy Hour.  The restaurant will be closed on Wednesdays.
