Davidson Hotel Company Selects StayOnline for Wireless Connection

StayOnline
, a leading provider of wireless high-speed Internet access solutions, announced it will install its solution at the Holiday Inn Research Triangle Park, owned by the Davidson Hotel Company.

This isn`t the first Davidson Hotel to provide its guests with faster Internet connectivity through StayOnline.  Earlier this year, StayOnline enabled the DoubleTree Hotel in Atlanta-Buckhead with wireless access. According to Ron Hardin, director of technology for Davidson Hotel Company, wireless connectivity is no longer an amenity, but is today`s necessity.

“This is a `must-have` service in the Research Triangle, and wireless Internet access provides a more flexible solution for our customers,” says Hardin.  “StayOnline`s system can also be implemented faster and with fewer hassles than wired alternatives.  Their wireless network covers the entire property, and they augment that with a redundant Cat5 cable network in our meeting rooms, so we can handle virtually any customer requirement.”

Through StayOnline`s state-of-the-art system, guests at the hotel will be able to ramp up the information superhighway at high speeds, while avoiding busy signals, lost connections and interminable delays often associated with dial-up connections. StayOnline will wirelessly enable all of the Holiday Inn`s 249 guestrooms, nine suites, meeting areas and restaurants, as well as common areas including the lobby.
Using state-of-the-art, proprietary technologies, StayOnline provides complete, customized solutions for its hotel clients—from its custom-engineered wireless network design to the latest high-sensitivity plug-and-play wireless antennas.
