Ryanair Celebrates New Record

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 low fares airlines, today (4th September 2003) announced 100,000 FREE seats to celebrate the 3.5 million passenger to date at Brussels-Charleroi Airport. All you pay are the taxes!

Announcing the record breaking passenger numbers and details of the 100,000 FREE seats offer, Ryanair’s Chief Executive, Michael O’Leary said:

“Ryanair is celebrating - this year alone we will carry 2 million passengers through Belgium.

We opened our 5th European base in partnership with Brussels Charleroi Airport in April 2001, and since then, Belgian consumers and visitors have saved over € 350 MILLION compared to high fares charged by airlines like SN Brussels Airlines or British Airways. Ryanair will continue to offer the lowest fares, the best customer service and the best punctuality to Belgian consumers.

Ryanair now has 12 routes from Brussels Charleroi across Europe: Ireland (Dublin, Shannon), UK (Glasgow-Prestwick, Liverpool, London), France (Carcassonne), Spain (Barcelona-Girona), Sweden (Stockholm-Skavsta), Italy (Milan al Serio, Pisa, Rome-Ciampino, and Venice Treviso).
