Hip-Hop Pass Boost ASEAN Travel

Philippine Airlines joins other regional airlines in promoting the ASEAN Hip-Hop Pass, a new tourism product launched recently by the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA).

The Hip-Hop Pass is intended to promote intra-regional tourism travel during the off-peak season of August to October.
The Pass has two components: an Air Pass with flight coupons priced at US$99 (excluding taxes) per flight sector and a Hotel Pass at selected ASEAN hotels, priced from US$35 to US$70 per room per night.
The Pass must be purchased within any participating ASEAN country within August 1 to October 25, 2003. The Travel must be completed by October 31, 2003.

The Air Pass may be bought at any participating ASEAN airlines and IATA travel agents. The Hotel Pass may be booked at any IATA-accredited travel agent. Only holders of the ASEAN Air Pass can purchase the Hotel Pass.

Various hotels from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand are participating the Hip-Hop Pass promotion.

Other participating airlines include Garuda Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Royal Brunei Airlines, Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Thai Airways and Vietnam Airlines.
