ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 16, 2002 - US Airways is offering a special fare sale for customers to make short trips during the Christmas holiday, with roundtrip fares starting at $78 to many cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Under this sale, tickets must be purchased for roundtrip travel departing Dec. 24, 2002, and returning on Dec. 25, 2002. Sale fares are nonrefundable, and are available through US Airways Reservations, usairways.com, and Sabre and Apollo travel agencies.

“These special fares give everyone the opportunity to make a trip this Christmas holiday, including travelers who only have a short time to spend with friends and family,” said Stephen M. Usery, US Airways vice president of marketing and revenue management.
