bmibaby Launches First Service Between East Midlands Airport And Cork

bmibaby has today announced that it is to expand its route network to include daily services from East Midlands to Cork. The new service will operate on a daily basis for the winter offering almost three thousand seats a month to the Irish City.
From December bmibaby will serve 22 European destinations from East Midlands Airport and nine European destinations from Cardiff International Airport. The airline is also actively seeking a third base from which to operate from next year.


Sue Underwood, head of sales and marketing for bmibaby said:
“We are delighted to be able to serve yet another extremely popular destination in Ireland. Throughout the winter there will be almost 1,500 seats a week to Cork with capacity hopefully increasing into the summer months.
