Frontier Chief Financial Officer Steve Warnecke Announces Resignation

Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced that Steve Warnecke will resign as chief financial officer, effective June 29, 2001, in order to pursue other business opportunities. Warnecke, 44, joined the airline in August 1999. Frontier President Sam Addoms will assume the chief financial officer duties.

“Steve was instrumental in initiating and implementing several key projects at Frontier, including improving the airline’s information technology infrastructure, implementing an enhanced maintenance management system, and leading the drive to a paperless flight deck,” said Addoms. “In addition, Steve played a key role during the initial analysis of our fleet transition project, and after those successful negotiations, led the transition team that brought the Airbus into service. He arranged for the financing for our first three purchased aircraft, and we are grateful for his contributions at Frontier. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
