A: Yes, all Qantas flights are scheduled to operate on Friday.

Q: Will my flight be on time?

A: We expect there will be some disruption to flights, however we have detailed contingency plans in place to minimise disruption to customers.

Q: Should I do anything special on Friday?

A: If you are flying domestically, we recommend you arrive at the airport at least an hour before your flight is scheduled to depart. If you are flying internationally, we recommend you arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight is scheduled to depart.

Q: What is the dispute about?
A: Qantas has offered the Australian Services Union wage increases of 3% per annum for the next two years. This is in addition to a bonus of at least 3% for the 2002 financial year. Qantas has also agreed to a number of other issues raised by the Union.

Three other Qantas Unions - the TWU, the AMWU and the AWU - have accepted our offer of 3% per annum wage increases.

Our offer to the ASU is reasonable.

The ASU wants a wage increase of 5% and that is why they are taking this industrial action.
