Just a week and a half after Finnair’s first flight to Hong Kong on February 7, Finnair flights to Beijing are boosted on February 17 with the addition of a fourth weekly departure on Sundays. Departure is at 17.25 from Helsinki, arriving in the Chinese capital at 7.10 on Monday morning. The return is at 12.20, arriving at Helsinki at 15.05.

Beijing traffic will be boosted still further on September 5, with the addition of a fifth weekly departure on Thursdays, returning Fridays.

Finnair began flying to Beijing in 1988. In 1992, the number of weekly flights was doubled, in 2000 they were upped to three, and this year Finnair will increase the number of weekly flights to four and later five.
