WorldRes.com, which links accommodation suppliers with online entities and the CRSs, named a new chief executive officer and board chairman with the departure of co-founder Greg Jones.

, formerly president and chief operating officer, will succeed Greg Jones, who left to pursue other interests “as a natural step in the company`s evolution,” the company said.

WorldRes.com
, which operates several consumer Web sites and has agreements with companies like Hotel Reservation Network, WizCom and Choice Hotels International, “generated $250 million in gross hotel bookings” last year, the company said.
