On Feb. 15 US Airways extended their Caribbean quota by launching a daily nonstop service from its Philadelphia hub to Grand Bahama Island. 169-seat A321 aircraft will be used on Saturdays, with120-seat A319 aircraft in place Sundays through Fridays.

On the same date, the airline implemented a weekly Boston to San Juan, (Puerto Rico), service on A319 aircraft; Sunday flights will be added from March 9. The carrier is scheduled to launch Boston-Cancun and Boston-Bermuda services in the spring.
