Condado Plaza, Puerto Rico, completes $6 million renovations

Located in the Condado district of San Juan, noted as one of the oldest and most established hotel districts in the city, the newly branded Wyndham Condado Plaza Hotel and Casino recently completed a $6 million renovation project.

In addition to $2 million in brand-enhancing improvements, made last October, the hotels two ballrooms, the Ponce De Leon and the Royal, have both undergone heavy restoration and now feature wireless capabilities. The upgrades represent Wyndham’s new millennium standards for high-tech meeting and conference facilities.
‘We cater to the tech savvy, business and leisure traveller,’ commented General Manager Ron DiNola, ‘both meeting planners and leisure guest alike will appreciate the technology and aesthetic enhancements to our hotel.’
Other completed renovations to the complex include the modern interior design of the lounge level of the Plaza Club, the hotels concierge level, and $3.5 million invested in newly designed guest room bathrooms, which feature marble finishing.

The Wyndham Condado
Plaza Hotel and Casino is set on the beachfront over looking both the azure Atlantic Ocean and the Condado Lagoon. The property features 570 deluxe rooms and suites and the Casino is the busiest in the Caribbean and the only 24 hour casino in Puerto Rico.
