AREMIS (a SoftBrands company) announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Newtrade Technologies Inc., a travel commerce machinery company, building and marketing advanced systems that streamline travel, tourism and hospitality commerce.

Under the terms of this agreement, AREMIS will market, install and support Newtrade`s web-based “portal” systems (or streamlined links that connect Internet users to information) under the brand name, AREMIS Direct. AREMIS Direct will support AREMIS customers by allowing potential guests and travel agents to seamlessly book from hotel and resort web sites, Internet portals, and GDS.
