ERM solutions provider Extensity Inc. has announced an agreement with Amadeus and their wholly-owned subsidiary e-Travel, to provide integrated and comprehensive online managed travel services.
ERM solutions provider Extensity Inc. has announced an agreement with Amadeus and their wholly-owned subsidiary e-Travel, to provide integrated and comprehensive online managed travel services.

The agreement, which covers all markets—approximately 200 countries—supported by Amadeus, e-Travel and Extensity, initially provides for joint marketing and sales between the companies. Future plans include integration of Extensity`s ERM solution with e-Travel`s online suite of services.

Under the terms of the agreement, customers will be able to access e-Travel`s online booking service through a single sign-on in Extensity Connect and complete the entire travel booking process from pre-trip approval and automatic policy enforcement through to expense reimbursement. The integration of Extensity`s Employee Relationship Management (ERM) solution with e-Travel`s online travel procurement and fulfillment service provides seamless business travel planning, transacting and reporting.

Benefits of the combined offering include:

—e-Travel`s online booking service pre-populates an Extensity Travel Plan for automatic enforcement of company travel policies and approval routing. This capability provides joint customers with the flexibility to use the existing pre-trip approval mechanism available with the e-Travel Workflow Option, or to use the same Extensity workflow engine as they would for Extensity Expense Reports, enabling the reconciliation of pre-approved amounts to post-trip expenses.
