A new 85-room Country Inn &
Suites By Carlson has opened its doors for business at 817 N. Keene Street
in Columbia, Mo.“We’re very excited to bring the Country Inns & Suites By Carlson
concept to this region,” said Steve Mogck, executive vice president and
brand leader, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson. “All employees will
participate in the Country Inns & Suites ‘Be Our Guest’ service training
program, to ensure consistent delivery of quality customer service at our
hotels.”

the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Columbia. The owner of the hotel is
MMP Keene Inc.
  The hotel features a heated indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and 24-hour
Club Bowflex fitness center with Bowflex(R) and Nautilus(R) equipment.
Guests can also request room service fitness options as part of the Club
Bowflex program. Other amenities include a complimentary deluxe continental
breakfast and a 40 person capacity meeting room that provides fax and copy
service. The hotel offers a variety of guest rooms including standard
rooms, one bedroom suites, studio suites and whirlpool rooms. All rooms
feature complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, microwave,
refrigerator, and cable TV. This Country Inn & Suites property is located
near several shopping malls, golf courses, parks and is across from
Columbia Regional Hospital. The hotel is also situated a few miles from
universities and colleges including the University of Missouri, Stephens
