Courtyard brand opens in Houston

The brand new Courtyard Houston by the
Galleria, located in the heart of the prestigious Galleria shopping
district in uptown Houston, has officially opened its doors for business
yesterday.The property located at 2900 Sage Road, is managed by White
Lodging of Merrillville, IN.
  “We are truly excited to offer another alternative to the Houston
market with a fresh and contemporary design sure to satisfy every guest,”
stated Regional Vice President Kevin Grandin. “Whether guests are coming in
on business or for a weekend of shopping in this high profile location, all
guests will be satisfied with their stay.”
  The upscale high-rise building design of the new Courtyard Houston by
the Galleria is reflective of its urban location and surrounding
environment. Guests will be welcomed to a spacious lobby complete with dark
wood interior, beautiful marble floorings and a “walk-around” front desk
that allows for increased guest interaction and more personalized service.
All 190 spacious guestrooms feature Marriott’s luxurious bedding, remote
control Flat Screen televisions with cable and complimentary wired in the
guest room and wireless high-speed internet access in the public space. The
hotel also participates in the Marriott Rewards frequent guest program,
where members can earn their choice of points toward free vacations or
frequent flyer mileage for dollars spent at Marriott hotels.
  Additional travel-friendly amenities include full service bar open
Monday - Thursday, heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi, fitness center, 24-hour
business center with high-speed internet, three meeting rooms, one
executive boardroom and garage parking. The Courtyard Cafe features an open
display kitchen with daily hotel breakfast buffet including cooked to order
eggs, omelets and Belgium Waffles.
