.Travel founder to quit Tralliance

Ron Andruff is leaving Tralliance
and the dot-travel initiative, which he established in 2005, according to reports.
Mike Stone, Tralliance’s chief of destination marketing confirmed that Ron’s departure had been planned for over a year, since the appointment of Ed Cespedes as CEO 14 months ago.

According to Mike, Dot-travel needs to develop. He told Travel Weekly: “A different set of skills has to take this to next level”.

Andruff, who has retained the title of president since Ed’s appointment, revealed that he has not had any operational responsibilities at Tralliance since Ed’s appointment.

Cherian Mathai, Tralliance’s COO will also leave the company once certain agreements have been finalized.
