Mid East aviation doubles every ten years

In a bid to provide the aviation industry with updated information on the fast-growing and increasingly influential Middle East market, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation is pleased to announce the release of a new monthly management report, the Monthly Essential Middle East.“This new monthly report on Middle East aviation is a timely addition to our coverage of emerging markets, which include the Monthly Essential China and Monthly Essential India reports, as well as Peanuts! The Low Cost Airline Weekly, now backed up by a dedicated website, peanuts.aero”, said Executive Chairman, Peter Harbison.

The Monthly Essential Middle East is the only independent monthly report of its kind, providing market watchers with comprehensive and focused coverage of strategic aviation events each month. Coverage includes the all-important airline fleet orders, route changes, ownership and privatisation news, traffic and financial results, as well as airport development (including updates on the region’s massive construction projects), traffic and regulatory developments, plus the region’s executive changes and tourism trends.

The information is presented in a handy, summarised format by topic, enabling readers to compare the strategic moves by various airlines. It also contains sought-after CAPA analysis and interpretation of developments each month in the opening ‘Perspective’ editorial.

“Middle East aviation is tipped to grow by just under 7% p/a for the rest of this decade - that means doubling every ten years - making it a market the rest of the world can no longer ignore. The impacts of rapid Middle East airline and airport growth are changing the shape of world aviation. Und understanding the drivers and the strategic evolution of this fast-moving market is crucial for all industry players”, stated Mr Harbison.
