Swiss European, which is a subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines, and the Swiss Pilots Association pilots’ union have opened discussions on their future collaboration. Both sides have agreed to continue these talks.

Swiss European and the Swiss Pilots Association (SPA) have been holding talks since yesterday (Wednesday, October 4) at the airline’s invitation. The prime aim of these initial discussions was to establish a common understanding on the future collaboration between the airline and its pilots’ union.

After intensive and constructive exchanges, the parties agreed this morning on a joint timetable for continuing their discussions. In doing so, both sides have underlined their desire to engage in constructive dialogue to reconcile their differing standpoints and perspectives.

Swiss European and the SPA have also agreed not to make any further public comment on the content of their discussions.
